RISING will play this years COPENHELL festival in Copenhagen, Denmark.
We will hit the Pandæmonium Stage (small stage) on Friday 15th, time slot TBA.

Finally we can announce the dates for our upcoming European tour!
It starts on March 16th in Berlin and includes dates in Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Luxembourg. We still have a couple of TBA’s but they will be settled in the coming weeks.
In addition to the mainland tour, we will play our first headlining shows in Sweden in April when hitting Linkoping, Stockholm and Gothenborg before concluding the Swedish dates with a homecoming show in Copenhagen, DK.
And remember before the European tour starts, we head out for three Danish shows in start March supporting our buds in THE KANDIDATE, who has a new awesome record coming out.

Our debut album “To Solemn Ash” is out in North America today via Exile on Mainstream/E1 Distribution. To celebrate the release, the album is now streaming in its entirety on the great stoner and metal blog The Obelisk. A little word from Henrik on the release and stream as quoted on the site:

“Hello every one! We are Rising, a heavy metal three-piece from Denmark. Back in October, we released our debut album To Solemn Ash in Europe via Exile On Mainstream. Now the time has come to make it available to the States. We are super excited about our album being released on another continent and hope to follow up with a tour one day. You can stream the entire album right here on The Obelisk. Enjoy and stay heavy on the heavy!”

The album will be available as 4-panel digifile CD and download. Vinyl enthusiasts can order the LP (180 grams vinyl, gatefold) through Exile on Mainstream’s web shop for the humble price 15 € (appr. 19$) including worldwide shipping.

Now, a week prior to the North American release of “To Solemn Ash”, the opening track of the album, “Mausoleum” is now up in the media section, as well as on our Facebook Bandpage, Youtube, Reverb Nation and BandCamp…for your listening pleasure/pain.

“To Solemn Ash” is nearing its North American release via Exile On Mainstream/E1 Entertainment on January 17th.
Today Pitchfork is hosting a stream of the opening track to the album, “Mausoleum”.

Finally a date for the North American release of “To Solemn Ash” is set.
The album will be released in the US and Canada via Exile on Mainstream/Eone Entertainment on January 17th 2012. The album will only be available as CD and download in the US, so all Americans and Canadians interested in the vinyl have to get it from us or another European outlet.
We’re happy to finally get the album released in the States and Canada, and we will keep you updated on North American press etc. in the coming months.
